Novonor S.A. achieves maintenance of ISO37001

Novonor S.A. obtained the maintenance of the ISO 37001 Certificate, a seal that was awarded in 2021 and which attests to the excellence of its Anti-Bribery Management System. In the Group, the OEC companies and their subsidiaries, including the international operations, Braskem, Ocyan, and Vexty are also certified.

“The seal is the result of the collective engagement and commitment of all members to act ethically with integrity and transparency. It is also further confirmation of the soundness of internal controls and the high standard of governance implemented throughout the Group since 2016,” says Rafael Mendes, Compliance Officer at Novonor S.A.

The Compliance System of Novonor S.A. and the companies of the Group was designed and meets the main national and international guidelines issued by the Brazilian laws, the CGU, the US Department of Justice, the OECD, the UK Department of Justice, Transparency International, the World Bank, the ISO 37001 Standard for Anti-Bribery Management Systems, among others, having been evaluated and approved by numerous of these authorities and organizations.

“For the continuity and maintenance of the high standard we have achieved, the collective effort shall be permanent. Ethics, integrity, and transparency are values of Our Culture and, therefore, non-negotiable daily practice,” says Rafael.
