As of today, Edifício Odebrecht São Paulo, negotiated in May 2019 with SDI and Barzel Properties, shall be called Edifício Pinheiros One, by decision of the current owners. Plates with the new name and the new brand have already been posted in outdoor areas and at the reception.

The building sale last year was considered a positive development in the Odebrecht Group’s debt and cost reduction schedule.

At the time, Odebrecht S.A. removed from its balance sheet a debt of approximately R$ 500 million related to the financing of one of São Paulo’s most modern constructions.

There were also savings of around 50% in relation to the cost of previous occupation, which served to repay the debt of the financing originally contracted for the construction of the building. When it was inaugurated in 2013, a successful revitalization of the degraded area around it began.

Now renamed Pinheiros One, the building shall be characterized as a multi-user development, allowing the leasing of its slabs also to other companies, besides Odebrecht.

The following Odebrecht Group companies remain occupying the building, without any internal changes: the holding company Odebrecht S.A., Braskem, OEC, Atvos, OR, OTP, Horiens, Vexty, Ocyan, Ambiental and ODT.

The change of name will not change the routine of the use of the facilities and services offered in the building, including security, reception, cleaning, parking, restaurant, snack bar, meeting rooms, medical clinic, telephones and extensions, among others.

It will be up to each Business or company to check on business cards, internal stationery, web sites and social network addresses the need to update the name of the building.
