Special website marks start of tributes to Norberto Odebrecht’s centennial

Norberto Odebrecht’s centenary: his life, his legacy

In order to celebrate the 100 years old that Norberto Odebrecht would turn on October 9, 2020, the Odebrecht Foundation launches a special website on June 1 that gathers historical facts, records and testimonials about the founder of Odebrecht Group. The webpage is the first one of many actions planned for the year 2020, honoring the legacy left by the entrepreneur and recognized not only by members of the Group, but also by Brazilian society.

Due to the social distancing measures in place to contain the dissemination of Covid-19, the campaign, devised in conjunction with Odebrecht S.A., was entirely adequate for the digital universe and proposes a look at the various facets of a man ahead of his time. An engineer graduated from the Polytechnic School of the Federal University of Bahia, Norberto Odebrecht stood out not only for his achievements as an entrepreneur, but for the example left as a great leader educator, creator of Odebrecht Entrepreneurial Technology, and defender of human development from the generation of opportunities.
