  • 7th edition of the podcast OEC Connection talks about the human factor in construction innovation

    Observation, questioning, networking, experimentation and association. According to César Costa, the 7th guest of OEC Connection, these are the five competencies to develop a fruitful and successful environment within a company.

    César Costa is partner-director of Semente Negócios. Administrator and Master in Innovation, Technology and Sustainability at UFRGS, he studied management at Lund University (Sweden), Strategic Management & International Business at the University of La Verne and Disruptive Strategy at Harvard Business School (USA). He is a professional Coach and Behavioral Analyst graduated by the Brazilian Coaching Institute.

    Costa has supported dozens of startups in different stages of maturity and developed innovation projects in several organizations. He talked with us about the human factor in construction innovation in the 7th episode of OEC connection podcast.

    “We need to train and prepare people with the discovery competences […] It is necessary to have an ambidextrous leadership, which thinks about today and tomorrow”, said César, while commenting on the importance of fostering the interest of the members for innovation.

    The guest also talked a bit about Corporate-Up, a methodology designed by him aiming to make already established organizations more entrepreneurial and innovative.
