1st OR GO Workshop takes place at OR regional offices

On May 21, 22 and 28, the 1st Workshop of the OR GO Program was held in Salvador, Recife and São Paulo, respectively. With the participation of six classes (two in each region), the event brought together professionals from different areas and functions, enriching the dynamics and the exchange of experiences.

The technical workshop was led by Ivo Neves, Director of SG4, the partner company that helped develop the strategy for the Program, which was launched last month. OR GO’s main objective is to boost the culture of management and excellence at OR, promoting an environment that fosters collective thinking around five principles: Planning, Risk Mentality, Early Delivery Vision, Technical Depth and Mutual Collaboration. In this way, it seeks to prepare employees and the OR to achieve the objectives set out in the strategic plan.

The OR GO Program is supported by six pillars of success: Sense of Responsibility, Engagement, Process Vision, Respect for Internal Procedures, Continuous Improvement & Innovation and Transparency, which will be worked on in practice using tools. The aim of the workshop was not only to detail the principles and pillars of success of OR GO, but also to present the tools. During the event, the participants did two collective reflection exercises, focusing on concepts and elements of the OR GO Program. As a result, numerous ideas and actions emerged to solve problems and improve processes. “I’m happy with the feedback I’ve received about the event, which was just a warm-up for what we’re still going to do. We have many steps to take and the success of this Program depends on the discipline and commitment of all the members, without exception, in order to effectively achieve the results we want,” says Marília Duarte, responsible for the Program at OR.
