The Young Builder class, a global program by Odebrecht Engineering & Construction aimed at developing young leaders and specialists, was completed in October with an in-person module, closing a journey marked by a 100% approval rate.

In 2025, the program featured three modules: two held online and the final one in person, including a visit to the Rodoanel Norte Project in São Paulo. The 35 young participants, of different ages, backgrounds, and nationalities, also took part in a self-awareness workshop and, throughout these sessions, had the opportunity to expand their networking, deepen their knowledge, and exchange experiences.

During the learning process, supported by more than 50 internal and external professionals and specialists who shared their expertise, participants faced a practical challenge: to develop a proposal for the maintenance of an outfall applying the knowledge acquired. At the end of the 4th edition, the groups were evaluated by a panel.

Tatiana Menez, an engineer at Rodoanel Norte, shared what it means to be a Young Builder: “I would say it’s a big challenge and an amazing opportunity, where, in addition to professional development, you make several connections and learn all the time.”

The importance of teamwork and the spirit of service, key pillars of Our Culture, was highlighted by Aristides Filipe, an engineer at the NAIC Airport project in Angola: “It was a very challenging experience, but at the same time smooth, because I was lucky to have a great team!” he said.

“Young Builder is a program built by many hands. It’s incredible to see people’s engagement in contributing to the development of these young professionals,” emphasized Ana Flavia Salice, the program leader, who also expressed her positive feelings about closing another edition: “I finish this edition with a sense of satisfaction, pride, and accomplishment. It was a journey where I could see the dedication, curiosity, and eagerness to learn in these young people. The connections built here go beyond the program. Each exchange and experience reinforces our commitment to preparing people for the challenges of the future.”
