Enseada recently obtained authorization from the National Waterway Transportation Agency (ANTAQ) for handling solid bulk cargo in general at its Private Use Terminal (TUP), expanding its scope to include, among others, all types of bulk cargo.

In addition, it has obtained the environmental license from the Bahia State Institute of Environment and Water Resources (INEMA) for handling bulk vegetable cargo, specifically focused on soybean exports. Data from the National Supply Company (CONAB) positions Bahia as one of the most important soybean-producing states in Brazil, ranking seventh nationally.

The recent licenses obtained by Enseada are part of the company’s effort to expand the utilization of its enterprise located in the municipality of Maragojipe, in the Recôncavo Baiano region. This expansion aims to generate employment and income, increase tax revenue, and attract new businesses to the region.

Enseada has been working intensively to enhance and diversify the use of its modern logistics and industrial park, and the obtained licenses allow for the continuous growth of its operations. The company places a strong emphasis on social and environmental responsibility, which is one of the fundamental pillars of its corporate policy.
