    Dream Career Survey honors Odebrecht for continuous and consistent work identifying and developing youth

     

    Last week, NextView People and the Cia de Talentos Group, which conduct the Dream Career survey once a year, honored Odebrecht for its work over recent years identifying and developing youth – a group up to age 26 in the survey that includes professionals just starting out their careers. This year, Odebrecht S.A. came in 11th place in the category “Dream Career of Youth.”

    “We believe in Odebrecht’s transformation capacity,” said Danilca Galdini, Director of Next View People and one of those responsible for the survey. “Since the first time you made the Dream Career  ranking, you celebrated the achievement, but never stopped there. You went farther, showed a concerned with understanding the data, the depth of the information, and primarily, how to put what was learned into practice. The tribute this year is so that you do not forget about this capacity to learn and transform, and never stop pushing forward,” added Galdini.

    From 2012 to 2016, Odebrecht was among the 10 companies most often cited by Brazilian youth. In 2014 and 2015, it reached its highest positions, coming in at 3rd place as the brand most often cited by the group. “This distinction raises our awareness and reinforces how proud we are to be part of Odebrecht,” said Daniel Villar, People and Planning RAF at Odebrecht S.A. “The youth play a vital role in the Group’s future and we are committed to giving them opportunities for self-development to ensure that they are continuously challenged,” he said.

    For 15 years, the Cia de Talentos Group has been mapping companies where youth dream of working. Starting in 2016, the survey began to collect data on the desires and dreams of the middle management and top leadership as well. In 2017, the study heard over 82,000 people in Brazil in different phases of their career. The answers were collected through an online questionnaire, including more than 62,000 youth, from students to those who recently graduated
