This week, the team at Hospital Irma de Lourdes Tzanetatos of the Social Security Fund, located in Tocumen, will start with the transfer of patients that are not diagnosed with Covid-19 to an annex with 43 beds. The facility is an annex to the Irma de Lourdes Tzanetatos Hospital in Tocumen, where only patients who do not show Covid-19 symptoms will be hospitalized.

The infrastructure to which they continue to make some adjustments was donated at no cost by the Line 2 Consortium, composed of OEC – Odebrecht Engineering & Construction and the Spanish company Fomento de Construcciones y Contratas (FCC). In a press conference, the Director General of the Fund, Enrique Lau Cortés, informed that the donation, being a unit with 43 beds, will be able to expand services that are not Covid-19 related.
