DATE: 07/30/2025
The latest edition of AMO Horto magazine featured a special section honoring OR, recognizing its importance in the history and development of Horto Florestal, in Salvador. The publication highlights the company’s contribution to the neighborhood’s transformation over the years through projects that integrate urban planning, environmental preservation, and quality of life
Titled “Onde a confiança criou Raízes”, the section launches an editorial series that portrays OR’s journey from the launch of Chácara Suíça, its first project in the region, to more recent developments such as Monvert and Alameda Vert. Divided into three acts (History, Consolidation, and Legacy), the series brings together testimonials from residents, architects, landowners, and OR team members, creating a sensitive and detailed record of the company’s impact on the neighborhood’s urban and social landscape.
“We are telling a story that truly reflects OR’s way of working. Our goal is to add value wherever we operate, generating sustainable development while being attentive to local needs and respecting local characteristics. The history of Horto Florestal’s development is deeply intertwined with OR’s presence. Hearing from people who lived through these moments and continue to admire OR as a purpose-driven company is a source of pride. This article highlights the partnership we’ve built with residents and the neighborhood association, positioning us as a respected and admired company in our market. And we still have many more stories to tell with the upcoming launches,” says Daniel Sampaio, Regional Superintendent Director of Bahia.
The publication also reinforces OR’s commitment to sustainability and responsible urbanism, while editorially documenting the company’s strong connection with Horto Florestal—a relationship marked by future vision, environmental respect, and purpose.
