OEC Connection Podcast welcomes Marco Perocco to talk about corporate innovation

Managing Partner of Innoscience talks about the characteristics and challenges that permeate corporate innovation within companies
In the fourth episode of the OEC Connection Podcast, Marco Perocco, managing partner of Innoscience, addresses the main factors that hinder innovation within companies. In Perocco’s evaluation, the most common reasons would be the misalignment with the business strategy and the organizational culture, in addition to the way the innovation process is seen and developed within the organizations. The program will be aired on October 19 on Spotify and YouTube.
Throughout the episode, Perocco also talked about the big challenge for corporations regarding innovation in practice, directly linked to solving these development gaps. According to the expert, “there is no single solution, because every company is different, has a set of practices, tools, and cultures.”
Marco Perocco is a graduate from FEI (University Center of the Inaciana Educational Foundation) and holds a specialization degree from Stanford University, in the United States. He has more than 20 years of experience in the telecommunications, consumer goods, and capital markets industries. He is currently a managing partner at Innoscience, and specializes in innovation, business strategy, technology, and product management.
The OEC Connection podcast discusses themes related to the improvement of processes in the universe of heavy construction, always with the objective of promoting a new look on possibilities of increasing productivity and competitiveness. The formatting of the program relied on the specialized consulting of Altavive, whose founder, Claudio Cardoso, is the program’s curator and interviewer. Cardoso has a post-doctorate in Communication from USP, is a retired professor from Universidade Federal da Bahia, and worked in the conception, among other cases, of InovaBra Habitat, the innovation ecosystem of Bradesco bank, where the OEC is present.

The podcast is part of the OEC IN ecosystem, an OEC – Engineering and Construction initiative aimed at designing solutions for the challenges faced at the company’s construction sites and offices. It was structured on the basis of four aspects: developing an internal culture focused on mobilization and engagement for Innovation; connect OEC to open innovation; provide technical support in technological upgrading, knowledge management, and digital transformation processes; and position the construction company as a protagonist that fosters and integrates innovation in its industry.
