  • Nova BR: Ananindeua Terminal advances with the assembly of metal structures

    The Ananindeua Integration Terminal, part of the NovaBR project, in the State of Pará, has been receiving metallic structures that weigh about 10 tons and will cover the three boarding and departure platforms of the Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) system and accessory bus lines at the Terminal. The works on BR-316 highway performed by the Government of Pará through the Metropolitan Transportation Management Center (NGTM)take place from the stretch between the Junction and the area near the entrance of the bridges and roads system named Alça Viária, in Marituba, 10.8 kilometers from the highway. The purpose is to implement the BRT system aiming at to expand urban mobility between the cities of Belém, Ananindeua and Marituba. In addition to the new drainage network, the project includes paving, bicycle lanes, tree-lined sidewalks, walkways, landscaping, and lighting.
