DATE: 02/28/2025
On 26 February, the People & Organisation department at OEC – Odebrecht Engenharia e Construção, held an integration meeting with the new trainees who joined the company through the Talent Programme, which took place at the end of 2024.
The chat was an opportunity for the new members to share their careers and expectations about the challenges they are now facing, and also learn a little more about aspects of our corporate culture.
The 2025 Talent Programme had more than 6,500 applicants and has so far recruited 17 people from the states of Acre, Bahia, Minas Gerais, Rio de Janeiro, Rio Grande do Sul and São Paulo. Another three vacancies are expected to be filled in the coming weeks.
In all, 14 women and three men were hired for the vacancies available at the ViaSul Consortium (RS), Campo Grande Ring Road (RJ), PROSUB EBN (RJ) and the Cantareira Consortium, which is carrying out the North Ring Road (SP). With regard to traineeships, six women and three men were hired on contracts for the PPP Saúde (BH), PROSUB (RJ) and the São Paulo Office.
Liza Amorim, a native of Acre, started her career at OEC on the PROSUB project in Rio de Janeiro and told us what it was like to receive the news that she had passed the selection process: “I can see that coming all this way has been worth it. Receiving approval for the trainee selection process at OEC was a very happy moment in my life, as I had been dreaming of an opportunity like this ever since I finished my course. Being part of OEC has been a significant milestone in my professional and personal career because, as well as being a company with great relevance in the market, it has provided me with fundamental experiences for my growth, learning and contribution in my area of expertise,” she mentioned.
Bruno Lopes, the only Administrator in the group, also shared his story about the opportunity to work in the Administration and Finance area: “I was very happy to be approved for the Talent programme, as I saw the opportunity to be part of a company that is highly representative on the national and global stage. I saw this challenge as an excellent chance to develop, facing different situations and taking part in major projects. Being an OEC Trainee is of great importance and responsibility, as it requires a constant commitment to learning and development”.
