An occupational accident is one that occurs at the workplace in the service of the company, causing bodily injury or functional disorder, resulting in loss or reduction of capacity for work and, ultimately, death. In a more modern concept, an accident is any event that disrupts the peaceful coexistence of the working environment.

The National Day for the Prevention of Occupational Accidents seeks to alert employees, employers, governments and civil society to the importance of practices that reduce the number of accidents and work-related diseases, promote a safe environment and healthy practices in all productive sectors.

In line with the concepts mentioned, Enseada’s HSE sector, together with its workforce, in a lecture held on July 27, in the company’s cafeteria, reminded everyone that in 2023 we reached the historic mark of 7 years without any record of reportable accidents, which demonstrates full commitment to the physical integrity and health of the members who develop their activities.

Therefore, we emphasize the importance of praising this milestone and applauding everyone’s effort to achieve these numbers, making this date even more symbolic!
