Learn about the challenges of Odebrecht S.A. for 2019-21

Late last year, during a meeting that assembled representatives of shareholders, of the directors of Odebrecht S.A. and of the Businesses, as well as more than 150 of the Group’s leaders, Luciano Guidolin, the CEO of Odebrecht S.A., shared the Group’s challenges for the three-year period 2019-21.
According to the Strategic Direction, a document that formalizes the key goals for 2019-21, Odebrecht wants to be recognized by everyone as a competitive and profitable business group that operates ethically, with integrity and transparency, that adopts good practices in corporate governance, compliance and sustainability and that has a Business and Investment portfolio with the capacity to deliver quality products and services.
To achieve the expected result, Odebrecht S.A. will prioritize three pillars:
In 2019 and 2020, the focus will be on stabilizing Odebrecht S.A. financially and fully recovering its capacity to operate to enable, in 2021, a resumption in its growth supported by a stabilized and balanced portfolio that diversifies risks, generates liquidity and creates value for Shareholders.
From the standpoint of reputation, the focus will be on leveraging the Group’s brands, on continued transparency and on rebuilding the sense of pride among all team members.
Odebrecht also will dedicate more time and energy to building the future, with a special focus on macro trends, innovation and sustainability in search of new opportunities and lessons.
