How can I be sure that the money I donate to an initiative or educational project will be used the right way? In our day-to-day life, this question is what determines whether or not to help institutions dedicated to transforming other people’s lives.

Today, we want to convince you to collaborate toward Tribute to the Future – New Generations because we believe in its capacity for transformation. In over 10 years, the Odebrecht Foundation program has already mobilized some 50,000 donations, transforming the lives of thousands of adolescents who live in rural areas, in a region with a low Human Development Index (HDI), yet rich in biodiversity: the Bahia Southern Lowlands.

On the foundation website, visitors can access reports and the accounting from previous editions and learn how their contribution was used. To guarantee that it reaches beneficiaries, the program uses a safe and reliable method. The resources raised (through donations or an income tax-deductible donation) go directly to the Childhood and Adolescence Fund of the municipalities through the Municipal Board for the Rights of Children and Adolescents.

The board is responsible for passing on the funds to projects focused on promoting the defense of this group’s rights. This year, the municipalities of Igrapiúna, Presidente Tancredo Neves, and Nilo Peçanha will receive support from the initiative through the Future Rural Entrepreneur Adolescent Development Project promoted by the Family Homes that are part of PDCIS, created and sustained by the Odebrecht Foundation.

Help give adolescents the opportunity to stay in the rural areas, joined with their families and communities while promoting development, the preservation of nature, and generation of jobs and income.

The deadline for participation is November 28. Learn more about this initiative and participate!
