During the month of March, Enseada reaffirmed its social commitment by donating light bulbs and reflectors, promoting significant improvements in the safety, mobility and well-being of the residents of the surrounding communities. The initiative demonstrates the company’s active role in promoting local development and improving residents’ quality of life.

The donations went to the community of São Roque do Paraguaçu and the quilombos of Enseada do Paraguaçu and Baixão do Guaí, directly impacting the lives of students, teachers, fishermen, shellfish gatherers and residents in general. The equipment and materials donated were used to light streets near public spaces and places where people live together, such as squares, schools and the seafront, as well as access roads in rural areas and public facilities such as soccer pitches.

Adequate lighting in these areas not only increases the sense of security for the population, but also promotes wider use of these spaces, encouraging sports, leisure and community life at night. In addition, the donations contribute to improving urban mobility, making it easier for residents to get around at night and increasing accessibility to services and areas of public interest.

It is important to note that the current initiatives have been carried out in collaboration with Maragojipe City Hall, community associations and local leaders, highlighting the importance of the partnership between the private sector and government and community bodies for the success of social development projects. The involvement of all stakeholders ensures that actions are tailored to the specific needs of each location, thus increasing the positive impact of donations, strengthening the bonds of solidarity and cooperation between the various players and contributing to building safer, more inclusive and sustainable communities.
