Enseada highlights sustainable operations at the 2nd Brazilian Congress on Law and Sustainability

Enseada Indústria Naval was present at the 2nd Brazilian Congress on Law and Sustainability, held on May 16 and 17, 2024 in Salvador by the Brazilian Institute of Law and Sustainability (IBRADES) and the Bahia Commercial Association (ACB). The presentation given by Mario Moura, the company’s operations director, as part of the panel on Ports, dealt with the theme of the Economy at Sea and was entitled “Competitive Advantages of Sustainable Operations in the Bay of All Saints – BTS”.
During his speech, Mario Moura presented Enseada’s trajectory, highlighting its operational potential in the naval, logistics and industrial hubs, and emphasizing the company’s sustainability policy, which has as its guiding guideline “promoting a dynamic balance between the environmental, social, cultural and economic aspects, emphasizing its commitment to promoting actions that qualify the relationship with communities, stimulating their sustainable development from the point of view of the economy, natural resources and people. He explained how Enseada has dedicated itself to mitigating the environmental impacts identified during the project’s licensing process, demonstrating that it is possible to combine operational efficiency and social and environmental responsibility.
Mario emphasized the competitive advantages that arise from sustainable practices, stressing that such initiatives not only protect the environment, but can also result in economic and operational benefits for the company. Enseada’s participation in the event reinforced the importance of an industrial, naval and logistics sector committed to sustainability, ratifying the need for a balance between development and environmental preservation to guarantee a more sustainable and legally secure future.
With the central theme “The Equation of Development, Preservation and Legal Security”, the event brought together experts, managers and authorities to discuss the intersections between economic growth, environmental protection and legal security.
