In an atmosphere of celebration and full of excitement, Concesionaria Madden Colón (CMC) opened its doors to the renowned international competition: Gran Fondo Ocean to Ocean, for the second consecutive year. More than 4 thousand cyclists, from 27 countries around the world, crossed the Madden Colon Highway, as part of a 116 km route, which started on the Atlantic Coast in the province of Colon and ended at the Amador Causeway, on the Pacific.

CMC provided hydration points, volunteer personnel and lane closures on the highway for the cyclists, with the required road safety to safeguard the physical integrity of all participants and attendees.

CMC members who participated in the organization and voluntary assistance on the day of the event, demonstrated the dedication and great willingness that characterizes the team, leaving the Concessionaire’s brand and the name of Panama on high.

The main hydration point, located in the toll area, featured a folkloric show representing the legacy of Afro-Antillean culture in the community of Colón, training music and the presence of the CMC brand, where most of the cyclists took the opportunity to take photos as a souvenir of the experience.

“For the second year running, CMC is part of this national project, where sport and tourism come together, reaffirming Panama as a world-class tourist and sports destination. For us, this international event is a great opportunity to show the world the quality of Panama’s road infrastructure, which CMC has been operating and maintaining for 15 years,” said Humberto Arce, Commercial Manager.
