In keeping with our commitment to transparency and people, I announce that Juliana Baiardi, the current Business Leader (LN) of Odebrecht Transport (OTP) has been nominated to serve as the new LN of Atvos, replacing Luiz de Mendonça, who will complete, on April 30, a seven-year cycle as the LN of Atvos.

With a B.Sc. in Civil Engineering from the Federal University of Bahia (UFBA) and an MBA from Columbia University, Juliana worked for 14 years in the financial industry prior to joining Odebrecht, in 2011.

Juliana has the experience, competence and cultural alignment to lead Atvos in a new cycle of growth and operational excellence. She will support the executives and their over 11,000 team members at nine agroindustrial units with 100 mechanized planting and harvesting to deliver on the production targets of 700,000 tons of sugar and 3 billion liters of ethanol. She also will continue to carry out the financial restructuring of the Business.

The corporate approvals by the governance bodies of Atvos and OTP for the respective elections and timetable for investiture of the LNs of both businesses will be obtained in the coming days.
