I am very pleased to inform you that Novonor has just achieved the ISO 37001 Certificate – Anti-Bribery Management System, a seal of quality significant to the history we are all building.

After a long and extensive auditing process conducted by an international certification Company, Novonor obtained this certificate, which attests to the highest degree of excellence in anti-bribery management.

We are particularly pleased that we have, together with the measures adopted in compliance with the leniency agreements entered into with Brazilian and foreign authorities, implemented high standards of anti-corruption governance in our internal procedures.

A few weeks ago, other Companies in the Novonor Group received the same certificate: Braskem, OEC, Ocyan, and Vexty, our private pension entity.

In addition, the Federal Public Prosecutor’s Office approved, in a session held on 05/05/2021, the monitoring and implementation of the integrity program foreseen in our leniency agreement.

These achievements, together with the successful termination of the U.S. Department of Justice monitoring, achieved in November 2020, prove the consistency of our governance and compliance system and represent significant credentials of the new times we are living in.

They show our customers and society how authentic and determined our transformation actions are. To these we can add what we announced last December, our Purpose, with the definition of the Company we want to be now and in the future, The Vision 2030, with the strategic direction for the next decade, and our new brand, Novonor, inspired by the future.
