Charitable Works Foundation of Sister Dulce celebrates mass in honor of the centenary of Norberto Odebrecht

On October 9^th, the date on which Norberto Odebrecht would turn 100 years old, Obras Sociais Irmã Dulce (OSID) pays tribute to the entrepreneur who built a symbolic relationship of partnership and friendship with Saint Dulce of the Poor. At 4:00 p.m., a virtual celebration will be held at the Shrine of Saint Dulce of the Poor with transmission by OSID social networks.

Norberto Odebrecht was behind the construction of several buildings linked to Dulce’s work, such as the Bahia Worker’s Circle headquarters, an embryo of OSID, and the Santo Antônio Educational Center – which emerged as an orphanage and was one of the Saint’s main dreams. He also helped to structure a management technology that would meet the objectives of perpetuity of the works in offering free services to the population. Affectionately called by Norberto Odebrecht as “my master, my professional mother”, Dulce became a counsellor and friend of the entrepreneur.
