Braskem has been acknowledged by MIT as one of the 20 most innovative companies in Brazil

At the moment, you are seeing that Braskem is acknowledged by MIT as one of the 20 most innovative companies in Brazil.

Braskem has been acknowledged, for the second consecutive time, as one of the 20 most innovative companies in Brazil, according to the Innovative Workplaces 2023 study of the MIT Technology Review Brazil content platform. The publication, held for the second year in the country, is linked to the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and evaluated the innovation capacity of more than a thousand companies of different sizes and segments.

The purpose of the acknowledgement is to develop a culture of innovation among Brazilian companies. For this, the organizations were analyzed from the perspectives of management and culture, diversity, marketing, open innovation, data decisioning, processes, and products and services.

”Since its foundation, Braskem has made consistent investments in innovation and technology. We have a strong commitment to the circular economy and aim to achieve carbon neutrality by 2050. For this purpose, and to improve our industrial performance and develop products that meet customer needs, prioritizing sustainable solutions, we invested BRL 514 million in innovation just last year. The acknowledgement as an innovative company by MIT is very gratifying and highly motivating for us”, says Antonio Queiroz, vice president of Innovation, Technology & Sustainable Development at Braskem.

In addition to Braskem, other companies from different segments that appear on the list are Bradesco, Petrobras, Carrefour, Claro, Renner, Algar Tech, iFood, Siemens, Vivo, Hospital Albert Einstein, among others.
