Vexty is the second Closed Private Pension Entity to win ISO 37001
DATE: 02/03/2020
Last December, Vexty was able to reap the benefits from their ongoing investments in Governance: this time the Anti-Bribery Management Systemwas recognized with the ISO 37001:2017 certification.
The audit conducted by QMS Certification Services (international certification body) attested the compliance with control processes and proceedings in relation to the applicable legislations, especially anti-corruption legislations; in addition, to the wide engagement of the Board of Directors and Members in the application of institutional guidelines.
This certification is the result of a work that required the development of a robust compliance program, which has demonstrated alignment with the anti-corruption law (12,601), through the adoption of policies, procedures, training and the strengthening of communication on ethical values and transparency, implemented at all levels of the entity.
“Surely this is a competitive differential for us, as we are the second closed private pension entity to obtain this important certification”, says Sérgio Brinckmann, Vexty’s CEO.
In addition, the second report of the International Organization for Standardization published in September 2019, only 12 Brazilian companies, considering all sectors, have this certificate.
Integrated Management System
In December 2018, Vexty had achieved the Process Quality certification with ISO 9001:2015 and now, with NBR ISO 37001:2017, the Entity has a certification integrated with its Management System.
“It reflects our commitment in consolidating a culture of transparency and integrity, in which everyone is involved in identifying possible risk situations and the best actions to manage in an increasingly secure manner the assets of our Participants and those we assist” Brinckmann concludes.
