Braskem featured in the ranking 100 Open Startups Brasil 2018

Braskem, the largest producer of thermoplastic resins in the Americas and the world’s leading producer of biopolymers, announces that it ranked among the most attractive corporations for startups companies, according to the ranking 100 Open Startups Brasil 2018.

The 100 Open Startups Brasil is an engagement platform between corporations and startups that is maintained by more than 70 leading global organizations that assess and classify startup companies across the world to generate business opportunities.

Furthering our relationship with the startup community is key to Braskem’s innovation strategy,” said Fabio Buckeridge, Digital Leader at Braskem. The ranking 100 Open Startups measures the attractiveness of the Brazilian startup market through a series of objective criteria, specifically related to the business relationship between startups and large corporations.

The winners of the 100 Open Startups 2018 were announced in an event held in São Paulo. Fabio Buckeridge was there and accepted the award on behalf of Braskem. One of the keynote speakers in the event, Professor Saras Sarasvathy, from the University of Virginia, introduced concepts to help understand the design and growth process of new organizations and markets.
