Odebrecht’s Innovation department held, this Thursday (28), starting at 6:00 p.m., at Inovabra—the Bradesco innovation ecosystem—the launch of its third e-book in the series Building Innovation – Collection of Articles 2025. The publication brings together insights, studies, and practical cases developed by the company’s professionals and partners, consolidating the organization’s strategy to foster a continuous culture of transformation and value generation through innovation.

The new edition reinforces Odebrecht’s positioning as an active agent in building innovative solutions for the engineering and construction sector, addressing topics ranging from digital transformation to sustainability, including new business models and the integration between technology and project management.

The launch event brought together employees, executives, representatives from the innovation ecosystem, and market guests, promoting a space for exchange of experiences and discussion on the sector’s challenges and opportunities.

    E-book content

The collection consists of articles reflecting the diversity of initiatives led by the Innovation department and various other areas of the company. Each text presents a practical and strategic approach to relevant topics for the future of infrastructure and engineering.

Among the highlights is an article that explores digital transformation in construction, detailing how the use of technologies such as BIM (Building Information Modeling), artificial intelligence, and data analytics has contributed to productivity gains, cost reduction, and greater predictability in project execution.

One of the texts focuses on innovation culture within organizations, discussing the importance of collaborative environments, encouraging intrapreneurship, and building multidisciplinary teams to generate relevant ideas and solutions.

Another article presents practical applications of emerging technologies on construction sites, including the use of sensors, the Internet of Things (IoT), and automation for real-time monitoring, improved safety, and optimization of operational processes.

The collection also includes an analysis of new contracting and project management models, highlighting trends such as collaborative contracts, greater stakeholder integration, and the use of agile methodologies in managing complex projects. Finally, one article brings together the company’s recent learnings from executing large-scale projects, emphasizing the importance of integrating innovation, planning, and operational excellence as a competitive advantage.

    Knowledge-sharing platform

According to Daniel Lepikson, Head of Innovation at Odebrecht, the e-book not only records experiences and learnings but also serves as a platform for knowledge dissemination and for fostering dialogue with the market.

“The collection represents a collective effort to systematize what we are learning in practice. More than sharing ideas, we aim to contribute to the advancement of the sector by encouraging new ways of thinking and executing projects,” he highlights.

The launch takes place during Pitch Night, an initiative created by Inovabra to connect startups with the market. In this format, ecosystem members present their business models in pitches of up to three minutes to a qualified audience composed of companies and investors seeking new opportunities and partnerships.
