The Cantareira Consortium, formed by Odebrecht Engineering & Construction and Renéa Infraestrutura, responsible for the construction of the Rodoanel Norte (São Paulo), carried out a chocolate donation campaign throughout the month of March to celebrate Easter with children living in the communities surrounding the construction site.

The initiative involved the participation of 14 people, who contributed to the goal of collecting 500 boxes of BIS chocolates. Engagement exceeded all expectations, surpassing the original target by more than 200% and totaling 1,633 boxes collected. With this significant volume of chocolate, it was possible to expand the reach of the initiative and benefit children from the Jardim Damasceno and Taipas communities, located in the northern zone of São Paulo.

According to Iolanda Alves, one of the project’s creators, even small actions reflect the presence of Our Culture. “Solidarity and trust in human potential are part of Our Culture and represent our commitment to the communities that coexist daily with the construction works. Seeing the engagement of our team members and the happiness of the children reinforces the importance of simple initiatives that generate great social impact,” said Iolanda.
