  • Odebrecht attends Latin America’s largest construction event

    The Rio Construction Summit 2025, Latin America’s largest construction event, was held from September 24 to 26. Experts gathered at the event to debate the future of the sector, discussing topics such as human capital, innovation and the construction industry outlook.

    Marcelo Piller, Director of Engineering and ESG at Odebrecht Engineering & Construction and Director of Innovation at Sinicon, participated in the event as moderator of two lectures: the first, on the 26th, addressed “Major Infrastructure Projects: Innovation, Regulatory Aspects, Financing and National and International Partnerships.” The panelists were Lin Li, CEO of CCCC (China Communications Construction Company) in Latin America; Jorge Bastos, CEO of INFRA S.A.; and Mario William Esper, president of ABNT.

    The second lecture discussed “Data Centers in Brazil: competitive advantages, incentives, and opportunities for construction.” The panelists for this discussion were Osmar Lima, CEO of Companhia Carioca de Parcerias e Investimentos (CCPar); Alessandro Lombardi, CEO of Elea Data Centers; and Laís Tovar, Customer Experience Superintendent at Light.
