Leadership training in Angola

During the months of October and November, OEC Angola, in partnership with the BAI Academy, promoted leadership training with a focus on managing successful teams, as part of OEC’s leadership development, for the company’s coordinators and managers. The training was divided into two modules with a total workload of 32 hours and aimed to develop leadership and team management skills in line with the best management practices and the cultural principles of the OEC. 

Yamba Ambrósio, a participant in the Cabinda Refinery project, said that the opportunity contributes positively to the development of any organization. “For organizations to achieve their goals, they need to empower their leaders to continuously improve their results.” 

Feliza Fortunato added: “It was an incentive to improve team spirit, and it encourages collective and individual growth,” she said. 

Gustavo Espinheira, People Manager at DS África, talks about the importance of training. “As well as technical knowledge, a good leader needs to work on their interpersonal characteristics, and the modules presented explore each topic in a creative way.” 

The program’s methodology was based on conceptual presentations and reflective exercises, with dynamics and case studies.
