Story of a CFAF student is featured in Jornal Nacional break
DATE: 02/14/2022
The effects of the training provided by PDCIS partner school were presented in the article
A student from the Agroforestry Family House (CFAF), a partner organization in the execution of PDCIS Social Program, had his life story told in a special report on Criança Esperança last Saturday night (12). Daniel Wilk, 18, showed how the high-quality education received at CFAF has changed his life and that of his family, helping him to develop skills to work in agriculture and contribute to the family income. The story, which was aired during the break of Jornal Nacional, a Globo network news program, also highlighted the institution’s transformative teaching, which this year receives the support from the broadcaster’s initiative in partnership with UNESCO.
Besides the support of Criança Esperança, CFAF relies on the support of the Tribute to the Future campaign, which engages thousands of members of Novonor Group, companies and society to continue training young people like Daniel.

Daniel’s story has also been highlighted in articles and videos published by Norberto Odebrecht Foundation, such as the support given by the rural school where he is a student for the set up of a hydroponics system – a technology in which plants are cultivated without the use of soil, and with which he was able to face the difficulties imposed by the type of terrain on his property. The student also appeared in the latest Tribute to the Future campaign, when he narrated the video launching the initiative.
