With the Communicating Impacts of Social Transformation – PDCIS Impact Assessment Communication Campaign, the Odebrecht Foundation wins the Northern and Northeast regional stage of the 46th Aberje Awards in the Organizational Sustainability category. The announcement of the winners occurred on October 22 through the Aberje website. With this recognition, the institution will compete in the national stage online, on November 9, with competitors from three other regions of the country.

More than 20 communication actions were carried out and gave feedback of the PDCIS Impact Assessment to stakeholders

Developed and implemented by the Foundation’s Communications team, the campaign focused on a strategy that addressed theeconomic, social and environmental impact results evaluated by the study conducted in 2018, giving feedback to the stakeholders. It also raised discussions about the importance of measuring and evaluating the real impacts generated to families by an interference such as the PDCIS, Social Program created in 2003 by the Foundation, requalifying communication and its image as a Third Sector institution0.

Fabio Wanderley, Superintendent of the Odebrecht Foundation, celebrated the achievement in the year of the centennial of the institution’s founder, Norberto Odebrecht, praising the relevance of a performance focused on people. “Have the courage to communicate openly what we did right and  What we learned and also what we had to improve. No doubt, we are more mature and aware of our role in contributing to a sustainable development and for the construction of a more harmonious society with equal opportunities for all,” he said.

For Camila Giuliani, Communications Analyst at the Odebrecht Foundation, the campaign fulfilled its role, bringing the Foundation closer to society in view of its effective contribution to sustainable development. “We have established a very positive dialogue that has been accountable to all stakeholders from a transparent behavior and the establishment of more consistent connections with the entire network of which we are part,” he said.

Elected the most important award in the sector by the communication directors of the main companies in the country, the Aberje Award – the acronym for Associação Brasileira de Comunicação Empresarial  – recognizes the best practices of Brazilian business communication, marking the trajectory of professionals and their organizations as protagonists of the continuous improvement of business narratives.
