One of the actions recommended by the WHO (World Health Organization) to contain the spread of the new Coronavirus is social distancing. All of a sudden, many people from various countries in the world found themselves in the duty to adapt their routines to stay at home. Despite this worrying scenario for everyone, one thing is certain: with the current restrictions and remote work from home, for those can do it, there is often some free time to do other activities that due to the day-to-day routine we end up leaving behind. Reading a book is one of them!

Reading is a way to give wings to imagination. A refuge from stress. It also helps in technical, creative, socio-emotional and analytical development, improving your performance inside and outside work.

What s reading now: “The Sun Sister” by Lucinda Riley.

“I’m reading the 6th book of Lucinda Riley’s Seven Sisters series: “The Sun Sister ” (2019). It is an incredible series where each book tells the story of a sister adopted by the millionaire Pa Salt, who seek their origins (each from a different continent) and approaches (also with true curiosities) different cultural, historical and peculiar aspects of several countries they pass through and seek their identity. It also has a bias towards celebrating women’s achievements, especially in the past when their contribution to making our world the place it is today was so overshadowed by men’s much more documented achievements.
The first book tells the history of Maia (who searches for her origins in Brazil)”.

We read books before Mommy leaves for work, and it’s been no different. We came to the country side, and every morning before I started my day, we read some books”.
