Vinyl-based plates and high-definition digital printing, used for ceiling coating, are introduced in the market through a partnership between Braskem, the largest producer of thermoplastic resins in the Americas, and Araforros one of the largest manufacturers of linings, folding doors and PVC tiles in the country. The solution was developed to meet one of the main demands of the civil construction and architecture sectors in the high standard market: unite trends, bold design and quality in a single product.

According to the manufacturer Araforros, the Vinyl Ceilings have now created differentiated finishings and quality superior to other solutions available in the Brazilian and international markets. The plates offer a lightweight coating that is easy to install and provides fast, practical and clean work. The product is mould and fungus resistant, and requires no maintenance.

“In 1991, when Araforros was created, we were far from imagining the path the company would take over these 28 years. Today, with the launch of the Vinyl Ceiling I can say that our company is prepared for the new economic cycles, taking to high standard construction works a solution that unites design and practicality in ceiling finishings. Developing solutions from innovation is in our DNA, says Leopoldo Beserra, CEO of Araforros.

The new Ceilings emerged from studies and a bold project, whose process counted on the support of teams from Braskem’s Commercial and Application Engineering areas in technology research that could revolutionize the segment of vinyl lining in Brazil, which included several international trips to evaluate the best solution in high definition technology for PVC plate printing.

According to Braskem, the partnership is part of a company strategy that focuses on proximity with clients: “Innovation is an issue that permeates all our actions, including the relationship with our clients. It is necessary to be close to understand the real needs of each one of them in order to discover together new solutions and, automatically, improve our productive processes and contribute to the development of the markets in which we operate, such as civil construction”, says Nilton Valentim, responsible for the civil construction segment of Braskem’s Vinyl & Specialties Unit.

The Vinyl Ceiling, new product category created by Araforros, will present its first collection during the official launch at the ExpoRevestir 2020, the most important fair in the Latin American finishing segment , to be held from March 10 to 13, in São Paulo (SP), at the Transamérica Expo Center.
