Odebrecht came in ninth place in the ranking of the 100 companies preferred by Brazilian university students in the Engineering area, according to the Most Attractive Employers survey by the North American consultancy Universum. This is the fourth consecutive year that OEC is among the 10 dream companies of young engineers.

Among the companies listed by these professionals are Petrobras, Google, Apple and Microsoft. Taking only heavy construction into account, Odebrecht would be at the top of the ranking.

Besides Engineering, OEC was also chosen by students from other areas: it was 29 th in Law, 59th in Human Sciences, 72th in Natural Sciences, 79th in Information Technology and 80th in Business.

“We realized that our permanence in the ranking means that young people identify us as an attractive company to make a career and that it is capable of developing talents”, says Eduardo Abud, responsible for People and Organizational Development at OEC. “This recognition is very important to encourage us to continue seeking the best practices in People Management and to grow again”, complements.

For this year’s edition 34,247 Brazilian students, from 135 universities, participated between October 2019 and April 2020. Click here and check the ranking.
